The neighborhood: Our quiet block, in PLG's historic manor, has won or placed in the Greenest Block in Brooklyn award many years in a row. It has wide sidewalks and is a one-way street, close to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, and excellent restaurants and cafes.

We are a family of one mom and two college-age daughters + one cat. For work, I handle communications at a photography museum. This is our 15th year in the house and in this beautiful neighborhood; we love it! I will be showing the apartment myself.
One-year lease with option to renew. I live upstairs with my daughters. We are looking for a tenant who will keep the apartment very clean and in working order. No smoking.
- one month's rent + security deposit; the security deposit cannot be used as last month's rent; it will be returned upon move-out minus any extra cleaning costs or repairs (including patching holes) that landlord must make to return the apartment to the state it was in when tenant moved in.

Pet policy: Tenants with a cat or dog are welcome provided they meet two requirements:
1. The apartment must be kept tidy, with no pee pads substituting for letting the dog out; and
2. Based on past experience: Owners who leave their pet alone all day in a crate, crying, will be contacted and landlord will inquire and get involved.
