The kitchen is spacious and features a seven-burner, two oven Lofra stove and is equipped for any manner of gourmet cooking. There is a pleasant back patio with a small vegetable garden and a charcoal grill, but the backyard is otherwise asphalt.

There is a dedicated driveway, and the house is located near the major arteries that lead out of town to upstate New York and to New Jersey. Inwood Hill Park is within easy walking distance, and Van Cortland Park is a little further. It is a five minute walk to the MetroNorth trains and a seven minute walk to the 1 train that runs down the west side of Manhattan. There are also express buses into Manhattan nearby.
