I help organizations make sense of what they do — and explain it in ways that people actually want to read, share, and act on.

I’m a former journalist with 10+ years of experience leading communications and PR work across healthcare, consulting, financial services, and tech. Much of my career has focused on turning complex or technical ideas into clear, compelling stories that resonate with media, and other relevant external and internal audiences.

I work best with small to midsize organizations — especially those without in-house communications support — who need both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. My projects often include media relations, thought-leadership strategy, messaging and writing across formats (bylines, blog posts, reports, emails, social, internal communications, video scripts), and practical communications planning and project management that keeps things moving without unnecessary process.

My rate is $100/hour, with flexibility for the right project or organization. I’m currently available for project-based communications and PR work, and I’m happy to share relevant samples.

Grew up in the Midwest. After spending some time abroad, moved to New York, where I've been for about 10 years. Former journalist with 10+ years of experience leading communications and PR work across healthcare, consulting, financial services, and tech. I now live in Brooklyn.

Outside of work, I’m an avid runner and reader, and I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures — all of which tend to inform how I think about storytelling, audiences, and perspective.
