About the Child: Our son is a sweet, curious, and engaged toddler with developmental delays who thrives with structure, warmth, and active engagement. He receives a number of therapies each week (including speech, ABA, occupational, and physical therapy), and has been very responsive to interventions. We are looking for a nanny who will actively collaborate with therapists and the family to support his growth, development, and joy in daily life. He enjoys music, movement, and sensory play, and benefits from consistent routines and gentle, intentional care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Carrying over strategies from therapy sessions into daily routines
Coordinating with therapists and parents to support care goals
Engaging the child in meaningful, developmentally appropriate play and structured activities
Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks
Keeping child areas organized and tidy
Taking initiative on completing light housekeeping related to the child (e.g., sweeping, vacuuming, loading/unloading dishwasher, child’s laundry)
Helping facilitate playdates or group activities as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with toddlers or young children with developmental delays
Creative, energetic, and driven to help children meet developmental milestones
Ability to problem-solve and adapt plans as needed
Neat, organized, and proactive
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working and collaborating with a team of multiple caregivers/therapists
Infant care experience (family is planning to welcome a second child in the future)
Background in RBT and/or ABA preferred (possibility for BCBA supervision)
