Location: LEIF Home & Woman — 319 Graham Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11211.
Schedule: 40 hrs/week. Full day (11am-7pm) and full weekend availability is required.
Compensation: $20-23/hr, plus employer-subsidized health, vision & dental, two weeks paid time off, and a 30% employee discount.
We are looking for someone with prior retail experience (preferably in a boutique or fashion setting), strong sales skills and an outgoing, energetic, upbeat presence with outstanding people skills. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and exceptional product knowledge while embodying our laidback but professional, authentic and engaged style of customer service.

Responsibilities include:
+ Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up and packing items with care and attention
+ Being an all-star salesperson by offering suggestions/guidance and making sales while conveying an energetic authenticity and friendly familiarity with customers.
+ Promptly and thoroughly restocking merchandise after every sale and refreshing/maintaining the sales floor throughout the day
+ Receiving and processing inventory: unpacking & steaming, filing and following up on damage/missing claims, entering inventory in our system and creating product pages and descriptions for e-comm, entering expenses and credits in Quickbooks, merchandise new product into existing selection
+ Monitoring and pulling for online orders, prepping them for fulfillment and seeing them through shipment
+ Maintaining and contributing to visual merchandising throughout the store, mannequin changes, etc.
+ Keeping back stock neat and organized, restocking and replenishing supplies throughout the day
+ Customer service while exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication
+ Maintaining the storefront (organizing, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc).

Requirements:
+ Prior retail experience, preferably in a boutique setting.
+ Comfortable working by yourself

+ Extremely reliable and high accountability
+ A warm, vibrant and friendly personality & an authentic, natural ease with people
+ Self starter who takes initiative
+ Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
+ Organized, efficient and aesthetically/visually inclined (gift wrapping, merchandising).
