I have a furnished, one bedroom sublet in a newer building with great amenities, elevator and incredible sunrise views available April 1 - July 1 with some flexibility on the duration. Our preference is for a subletter who will stay for 3-4 months.

Our space is bright and airy thanks to floor to ceiling windows, well-proportioned rooms and minimal clutter. The apartment has hardwood floors, a sensible layout and newer appliances. Other highlights of the 624 sqft apartment include: en suite washer and dryer, king sized casper bed and spacious closets.

This apartment is ideal for those visiting NYC for work, school or need a place to stay while they look for more permanent housing.

We love the location off of Myrtle Ave. for its convenience:

- 7 minute walk to Brooklyn Navy Yard with East River Ferry terminal

- 1 block from PRATT

- G train at Classon Ave 10 min walk

- Fort Greene Park 13 min

- Grocery, restaurants, bars, banks etc are steps away at Myrtle Ave, and even more on Dekalb.

Generally, the area is quiet as Steuben is not a busy thoroughfare. Street parking is easy if you have a car.

The building is medium size with about 35 units and 6 apartments per floor. Neighbors are quiet and friendly.

Bonus amenities include: gym with outdoor courtyard, roof top deck with stunning views of Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, lounge chairs and a grill; well appointed common area with wifi, darts, foosball, seating; virtual doorman and comfortable lobby.

Extras: WiFi is included. ConEd (gas and electric) averages $120/month depending on usage. Subtenant pays gas and electric. I’ll provide a digital copy of the electric bill and the subletter will reimburse via Venmo.

We are a couple in our 40’s working in film and tv (hence the close proximity to Brooklyn Navy yard with Steiner Studios). We will be spending 3 months in Detroit where we have a home we are rehabbing.

The building is professionally managed and is responsive to any needs. We prefer to be the point person for maintenance issues with the apartment. Other tenants on our floor are friendly, respectful and relatively private.
