Leasing my recently renovated 2BD/1BTH apartment on the Clinton Hill/Bedstuy border, steps from A/C and S trains, and close to Prospect Park. High ceilings, lots of light, central AC and control over the heat (so rare for NYC apartments), dishwasher, jacuzzi bathtub, fast wifi. In a brownstone building on a quiet little three block-long tree-lined street just around the corner from lots of cool bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. 15 minutes from Manhattan on the train. I live just down the block with my husband and have lived in the neighborhood for almost a decade.
It's currently fully furnished, and I'm looking to sublet it for 3-6 months but could go shorter or longer for the right fit! I'm also willing to unfurnish for the right person but ideally would like to keep it furnished.
Hi, I'm Caitlin (she/her). I'm a musician living in Brooklyn (literally down the block from the place I was lucky enough to buy a couple years ago). The only reason I don't live on my property is that my place down the block has a recording studio in the basement. I started renting out my property when I moved in with my fiancé a couple years ago. I'm always nearby to help with any issues, very responsive, and happy to share recommendations about the neighborhood and city.
I usually screen applicants through Zumper. We'll both sign a short-term lease. I require a security deposit of one month's rent, and my condo board requires a $250 move-in fee.
Pets are allowed once approved by the condo board—the application is a quick one-pager, and there's been lots of animals in the building, so it's really just for paperwork purposes. There's also a small pet fee.
