Recently renovated parlor-floor 2-bedroom apartment in a 2-family prewar building in Flatbush Brooklyn is available on a month-to-month basis. Located 2 blocks from the 2/5 trains at Church Ave with a beautiful backyard. There's one large bedroom with walk-in closet and one much smaller one, so it works better for one person or a couple. The sublet price includes internet, electricity, and all other utilities. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat a couple doors down (I set a timer and go home between loads). There is radiator heat and minisplits for AC (which you won't need unless you're still here for summer).

The catch (or the bonus?) is that this apartment comes with cats! I have a couple of older cats that I don't really have any options to relocate. They're very easy going and low maintenance. And there is one front yard cat and 3 backyard cats (all feral) which are also very low maintenance - they just need to be fed a couple times a day. I also have a few plants - and if you can keep them alive, that would be great!

There is flexibility in the stay which could extend beyond January. Either party just needs to give one month notice before the change in tenancy.
