A spacious 2BR featuring hardwood parquet floors, a marble bathroom, high ceilings, and a state-of-the-art kitchen with a dishwasher and oversized fridge. It is situated in a building complex which includes a gym and coworking space. It also offers access (within the building complex) to a rooftop with an unbeatable view of the Manhattan skyline. It is situated on the third floor in a walk-up building. (Apologies, the building does not have an elevator).
The apartment will be available for move-in somewhere between October 1-15th, depending on when we submit your application. Tenants require Board approval.
The apartment comes furnished with a kitchen table, velvet couch, bed, bedside tables, dresser, and coffee tables. Some pieces can possibly go into storage if you definitely don’t want them, but I’d like the majority of furniture to remain. This past year’s tenants, Paloma and Sebastián, did a beautiful job arranging the space!
You will be a ten-minute walk from Ditmars Boulevard, which has a host of restaurants, and a five-minute walk from 30th Avenue in Astoria, one of the busiest avenues in the neighborhood with a plethora of grocery stores and restaurants.
The building and neighborhood are very family-friendly and ethnically and geographically diverse with many languages spoken.
I am the owner of the apartment. I’m a writer, editor and artist originally from not far away.
Currently, a couple live in the apartment so we will be arranging viewings with them. My pronouns are she/her.
This is a cooperative, so there is a rental process overseen by the Board. It involves a credit check, a fee to have your rental application checked, and an interview process.
Only small (<20-25 lb.) dogs are allowed. Any larger dogs are against the building rules, so unfortunately no exceptions are possible.
Cats will be easier to get approved.
