Bright bedroom with private office space access in a 3 bedroom/2 full bath two floor apartment in a 1930 brick home in North Riverdale shared with two others (one working professional woman and one room open for rent now). You will have the only bedroom on your floor (the other two bedrooms are upstairs) and a mostly private bath (the other bedrooms use a different bathroom). You will have access to the desk space in the shared living room which has a door so can be private during your work hours. Outdoor deck/balcony is off the living room. The kitchen is shared.

Furnishings include what's in the photo - a queen bed, desk, chair, TV, AC, chest of drawers, closet. I pay for streaming services, internet, gas & electric - all included. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, with a large oven, dishwasher and air fryer. Laundry room is shared, free to use, available in the basement.

Looking for a responsible housemate and I can be flexible on timeline. I prefer someone able to stay longer-term but am happy to work on your schedule. No smoking and no pets please.

This could be a great fit for someone looking for more space, easy parking and quick escape north of the city. It’s a very quiet and family-friendly area. Park your car on the street with no alternate-side parking. You can occasionally use the off-street parking in the back of the house. While it’s helpful to have a car here it’s not necessary. Coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Short walk to Van Cortlandt Park, College of Mount Saint Vincent and Wave Hill.
