Room Available Starting July 1st – Short or Long Term

I’m looking for a subletter for a furnished room available from July 1st, with a current end date of October 1st (extendable for the right fit) - $2,000/month.

If you’re interested in a shorter stay (and I don’t find someone for the full month) I’ll be out of town from July 9 to 19 and from July 30 to August 11, and I can sublet the entire apartment during these dates for $900 per week.

This bright pre-war apartment is located in Kensington, right on the border of Windsor Terrace. The furnished room includes a queen bed, dresser, desk, and closet.

I travel frequently, so you’ll often have the apartment to yourself.

The apartment is located just one or two blocks from laundromats, coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The F and G trains are very close—only half a block away, about a 3-minute walk. Prospect Park and Cortelyou Road (Ditmas Park) are both a 15-minute walk from the apartment. The East Village and Lower East Side in Manhattan are reachable by a 22-minute train ride.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see the room.

About This Lister

I'm Jessica (she/her), originally from Victoria, BC, and Canadian. I've lived in New York for the past 15 years and work as a documentary filmmaker. I love this neighborhood and have called this apartment home for the last 11 years. I'm looking for a subletter who is clean, laid-back, and pays rent on time - preferably someone who doesn't work from home.
