I’m subletting my furnished bedroom in a spacious East Williamsburg apartment while I’m away for an extended period (I’m not moving out permanently).
The apartment is large by NYC standards and includes a bonus storage room (an extra room with no windows), which is rare and super useful. You’d be sharing the apartment with my roommate, a 26-year-old young professional who works from home. She’s easygoing, respectful, and a genuinely great roommate. We’re both queer, so it would be a plus if you are too.
The Room & Apartment:
Fully furnished bedroom with bed, desk, monitor, and access to common areas
You essentially have own bathroom due to my roomate having her own in her room, but yours in connected to the common areas
Small walk-in style closet (I’ll leave some space for you)
3rd-floor walk-up (easy stairs)
Roof access
Washer/dryer in unit (we typically hang dry)
AC + WiFi
No dishwasher
We’re social people, so my roommate may occasionally have her girlfriend or friends over, but the apartment still feels calm and comfortable.
Location:
~6–7 minute walk to the L train
~10 minute walk to the JMZ
Citi Bikes right outside the building
Grocery store on the corner
The neighborhood is a quieter pocket between Williamsburg and Bushwick but you’re still close to some great spots like Duck Duck Bar, Lulla’s Venezuelan Bakery, Win Son Restaurant & Bakery, and more. You get the convenience without the chaos.
If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located, queer-friendly place with good vibes, this could be a great fit
Born and raised in San Diego but get to travel for work so I’m all over! Roommate is from Seattle so we’re two queer west coast girls switching things up. We love dinner with friends, good wine and good music, building community, and more.
I'll be gone, but my roomate will be in the apartment.
You'll be paying rent to me, and I'll have an agreement you will sign.
Rent is $2100 plus utilities, which ends up being around $100.
