The room is a furnished south-facing, sunny bedroom with lots of closet space. . Queen-sized bed, side table, desk, office chair, and A/C unit (not installed in pictures) are included.
It’s a quiet, well-maintained prewar building with an elevator, laundry room in the basement, and curbside composting. <10 minute walk to the 145th St ABCD and 1 stations. Great neighborhood with a local NYPL branch, many parks, supermarkets, bodegas, restaurants, bars, gyms, and coffee shops.
The apartment has a beautiful open living/dining room, galley kitchen with a serving hatch, and decent-sized bathroom with a tub.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with Margaret, 28. She’s a native NYCer and an academic librarian. At the moment she usually works from home in the morning and goes to campus in the afternoon. She likes to hang out at home reading, watching TV and knitting/doing other crafts. sometimes invite friends over to watch a movie and occasionally host out-of-town guests on the futon in the living room. She’s looking for a roommate who aligns with this and likes a quiet and friendly environment.

The lease is up in late February 2027; please be aware that the management company requires an income of 40x the rent (or a guarantor) plus the usual documentation (credit check, proof of income, a recent bank statement, etc.) and renter’s insurance to be added to the lease.
