The area - Ridgewood - is quiet and peaceful, and very cute. The apartment is conveniently located on a leafy residential street with a superb deli on our block, a full grocery store and a laundromat a block away. If you know Ridgewood, then you know that cafes, bars, restaurants, music venues, cute boutiques, vintage stores, and galleries are plentiful here, all located nearby. The apartment is right across the street from Graceland – and Topos (one AND two!), Rolo's, Decades, Pizzeria Panina, While In Kathmandu, Mama Yoshi Minimart, Other People’s Clothes, Aunt Ginny's, etc are all nearby.

The room can come furnished, but if you have your own furniture, we can make that work! The bedroom fits a bed, dresser, desk, and there is plenty of space in the built-in closet. The apartment and living room/common spaces are also fully furnished and ready for move-in – I’ve been living here for 8 years, so everything is covered.
The common space is very open-plan, with plenty of plants, and almost feels like a loft due to the high ceilings. There’s very reliable Verizon Fios wifi, TV with Roku, and gas heaters all around the place. Also - quiet neighbors who have all lived here for 10 years or more, with just 4 apartments in the house in total.

I’m flexible about the length of stay – prefer longer-term but open to discussing! To move in, it would be first month's rent and one month's security deposit.

I’ve lived here for around 8 years, love it, and never want to move. Ideally, looking for a long-term roommate/subletter for the room, but a shorter term could work too if we match. I’m on the lease: a woman in my mid-30s working in film, I enjoy art and other creative endeavors, and have lived in NYC for 14 years.
