I am renting out a very large bedroom in my apartment in Park Slope for up to a year. (happy to discuss other lengths of time if you are only looking for something shorter term)

The apartment is a 2 bedroom with an office and I will be in the other bedroom.

Your bedroom is a 15 x 10 foot bedroom close to 14th Street and 5th Avenue in Park Slope. It has 2 large windows so it gets a lot of light and it is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and building.

I have been living in this apartment for over 14 years. I am clean and respectful. The common space of the apartment is furnished and comfortable and the kitchen is large and enjoyable to cook in. I also have an espresso machine that is wonderful.

I would like someone who is kind and respectful and does not work from home 5 days a week.

The rent does not include the utilities. Those usually end up being about $75 a month (more in the summer from AC use)

No pets sorry, no exceptions.
There is no laundry in the building but 3 laundromat's within a few block of the apartment.
The closest subway station is 4th Avenue and 9th Street with the F, R and G train.

I am in a writer who has lived in New York for 15 years. I perform stand up comedy around the city and travel for shows occasionally. I enjoy film and concerts. I run or do yoga most days. I typically write in my office at the apartment or at a cafe.

I have never had a problem with a roommate, as long as there is clear communication and respect and cleanliness.

I have a number of great friends in the neighborhood, most of whom are in the arts as well.
