Looking for someone to take over the lease of my giant studio in Park Slope.
Rent: $3800 (I’m willing to subsidize the rent down to $3600 for the duration of the lease)
Move in: early December
Lease ends: March 31, 2026, option to renew, rent stabilized.
This is a huge studio in the heart of park slope. While it’s technically a studio, it has a half wall separating the bedroom from the living room. This is a lease takeover, so you get my lease term with the option to renew. To give you a sense of size, I have a queen bed in the bedroom. In the living room, I have a full size couch, a dining table and a desk. You’re essentially getting a one bedroom at the price of a studio. Also the building is rent stabilized, so they’re limited in how much they can raise rent.
The apartment is an 8 min walk to Barclays, which means you’re close to every train line. This area of park slope is great. Tons of bars and restaurants on 5th Ave. Walking distance to 4 grocery stores and prospect park.
Other perks:
- Elevator / Doorman building
- Fitness center
- In unit washer and dryer
- Rooftop with grills
- Pet friendly
Really great apartment in a great neighborhood. I'm moving to a bigger apartment to accommodate a baby on the way. Otherwise, I would have stayed in this apartment for a long time.
I'm a tech worker who works from home and has a dog. This apartment is mere minutes from Atlantic Barclays (aka close to every train line), there's a nice dog park only 15 minutes away, and prospect park is a 20 minute walk. I truly love the apartment and building. I'm only moving because I'm moving into a 2 bedroom. Otherwise, I would have stayed in this unit for a while.
This is a lease assignment, so you'll need to go through the buildings app process + financial requirements.
Pets allowed; No fee if they're a service animal
