Located in the vibrant Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brownstone Brooklyn, surrounded by playgrounds, green space, great restaurants, cafes, farmers markets, wine shops, bookstores, and supermarkets. Five-minute walk to the G and C trains; 20 minutes to downtown Manhattan. Fort Greene and Prospect Parks, Pratt, the Brooklyn Museum, Barclays Center, BAM, and the Botanical Gardens are all within a 20-minute walk.

The parlor level is flooded with light from floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors, and boasts all the beautiful brownstone details: 14-foot ceilings, wedding cake moldings, exotic marble fireplaces, and a massive gold leaf mirror.

The lounge has a comfy couch, art books, and a large Roku TV. The dining table seats ten, and the kitchen has high-end appliances, every gadget you need, and a planter full of fresh herbs on the deck just outside.

About This Lister

I'm an author and journalist, and my husband is a professor. Every summer, we move in with my mother in Massachusetts and rent out our home. We have been very fortunate in always having terrific tenants who enjoy it immensely and care for it as if it were their own. It's a special place!

Rental requirements

We sign a sublease agreement and ask for one half-month security deposit. References requested. We ask tenants to use our housecleaner for weekly or biweekly cleaning. We supply garden clean-up 1-2 times over the summer.

Pets Policy

We will consider small dogs. However, our back garden is full of flower beds and so cannot be used as a substitute for walking your dog to relieve themselves.
