We are looking for someone to sublet our beautiful 1BR (its a 2br that we use as 1br + office) apartment in the heart of the Marais. It is 1 block from the Place des Vosges, in the most central part of town, with all the bars, sightseeing and shopping near by. 10 minute walk to the Seine.

The apartment is gorgeous, with 12-foot ceilings and big windows. On the 3rd floor with elevator (French 2nd floor). It consists of a living room/kitchen with a lofted bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an office. In the heart of the historic Marais, but facing a courtyard so it’s quiet enough that one can hear the birds. Top floor, so skylights in both rooms and dreamy Parisian beams.

Please note that there are small wooden stairs that lead to the mezzanine bedroom, see photos. Perhaps not for the infirm and definitely not wheelchair accessible. Mezzanine bedroom with sloped ceilings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, full-size stove, and refrigerator.

The small building is shared with other tenants and we love our little spot, so applicants should be quiet and respectful of others in the building. We actually live here. No parties, please.
