The space boasts a large, light-filled kitchen fully equipped with a dishwasher, brand new gas powered oven/stove top, fridge, with plenty of cupboard, pantry, and counter space. The kitchen also offers a view of a garden.
There is a large living/dining room with high ceilings, architectural ceiling, and wooden floors, and a bathroom that has been recently renovated. If you own a bicycle, there is also space in the entryway to store your bike mounting a floor to ceiling bike rack unit. The entryway also features a storage closet. Utilities are not included.

The front-room is a spacious and bright room with high ceilings, and West facing bay windows. There is a lit walk-in closet with storage area, two floor to ceiling bookcases, a ceiling fan, and a window HVAC unit. This bedroom also comes equipped with a lit walk-in closet with storage area, two ceiling fans, and a window HVAC unit. The Living/Dining room is light-filled with three windows. There is ample space for a table and chairs and/or a sofa with chairs and coffee table depending on your layout.
To note: the unit is a walk-up, and there is a flight of stairs leading up to the unit.
The neighborhood:
The apartment is close to all amenities and is a 10 minute walk away from the N and W subway lines at 31st street Ditmars Subway Station. The N line runs frequently, and is a 25-30 minute commute to Midtown and the Upper East Side, 40 minute commute to Union Square, and is steps away from Steinway street with access to the Q69 bus. All amenities are within a short walking distance of the apartment. There are several supermarkets, gyms, laundromats, bars, breweries, and diverse restaurants along Ditmars and Steinway, and only a short subway, bus or bike ride to Long Island City, Roosevelt Island, Jackson Heights, and Sunnyside, and a twenty minute walk from Astoria Park and the waterfront.
My wife and I are the owners of this house. We live on the first floor. Everybody loves this quiet neighborhood and this quiet street. This part of Astoria is not crowded and has tree—lined streets. The lobby and entrance of the house are kept clean and are tastefully decorated according to the change of seasons.
