Gorgeous Williamsburg Studio off Bedford Ave, Avail for Sublet or Lease Takeover

Apartments for Rent   |  Lease Takeover

Neighborhood

Williamsburg, New York

After unexpectedly receiving a job offer in Paris, I decided to move out of New York and put my studio in Williamsburg up for sublet or (preferably) a lease takeover. The studio is available immediately through the end of January; of course, if you are interested in a lease takeover, you can sign to stay longer.

The studio is located in the Driggs Building, on the corner of N 9th and Driggs in Williamsburg, just three blocks from the L (Bedford Ave stop) and three blocks from McCarren Park. The surrounding blocks are quiet and clean, but just steps from the activity of the neighborhood, including many great coffee shops. fitness studios, restaurants, and bars.

This is an 8-story new build building, with full amenities - 24/7 doorman, movie / rec room, co-working space, laundry room in building (though the studio also has in-unit washer / dryer), a recently renovated gym with Pelotons and other equipment, elevators, and a rooftop deck with grills and lounge chairs. This building is pet-friendly.

The studio has two large closets, a full kitchen, a large living / bedroom space, an in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a large bathroom, as well as built-in speakers with Bluetooth access.

I have truly loved this apartment and my several years living there; if I hadn't moved to a new city, I would have absolutely stayed. If you have any interest, please let me know! I'm happy to answer any questions or provide more information.

About This Lister

I am a working professional in the luxury fashion space; I recently moved from New York to Paris after receiving an unexpected opportunity. Before my move, I had been living in New York for several years, and in this listing for over two years.

I am the current leaseholder, with a lease that is set to go through the end of January. I would prefer a lease takeover but am equally happy with a subletter that covers October 1st through the end of January. The property manager would be available to provide a tour.

Rental requirements

In the case of a sublet, I would require 3 months of paystubs, most recent snapshot of savings account, and an informal credit check to ensure that you are financially sound and able to keep up with the monthly payments (my last subletter kindly shared all this information with me, and it ended up being hugely helpful). I would also request one month's rent as a security deposit, which would be returned at the end of the period. Finally, I would ask that we sign a contract to ensure that there is no early move-out.

Pets Policy

I did not have a pet in the unit, so I would need to confirm what restrictions are in place, if any! But I have seen dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and breeds in the building

Please note: service and support animals are permitted where required by human rights laws. Learn more.
