Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our old fully furnished farmhouse is nestled on a hilltop, on 3 acres in the Town of Newburgh. Plenty of nooks to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Take a stroll in our meadow or explore local trails, farms, breweries, orchards and vineyards.

There are a few places to eat and convenience stores within walking distance. We are right off of a major road so you will hear some traffic. Fortunately we are set back far and high enough that most of the time it sounds like a river or ocean waves. Once you pull into our circular driveway you’re transported to a tranquil oasis.

You would have access to the entire first floor. About 1000 sqft. One Bedroom with Queen bed, private bathroom, living room (smart tv, you can use your own streaming service, we can provide a guest account upon request), writing desk in the living room, dining room with seating for eight, kitchen (plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Small patio off of the kitchen, where you’ll find the grill and some additional seating. Use of the meadow, fire pit and grill are included. You’ll also have your own covered porch with a swing!

Washer and dryer may be available upon request.

It’s an old house, it creaks (thankfully does not leak). Some drawers and doors stick. We are slowly restoring banisters and floors, which you will see some of. On the second floor we have a bathroom that we use and two personal workspaces.

We love our place, and know you will too. We’re quiet and respectful. We mostly work from home and have a large Rottweiler / Husky mix. She is friendly but is large and we’re still working on not jumping on people when she’s excited. She’s always available for pets and snacks.

No shoes in the house. We have carpets through out and keep it pretty clean.

We usually enter through the kitchen instead of the front. Closer to the parking area. Plenty of parking, just stay off the grass.

Quiet hours are 10pm - 9am. We’re flexible though if you are having a few people over.

Plenty of space to relax or work on your next project. We also have an unfinished basement that can be made available for messy projects upon request for an additional fee.
