Our 200-year-old home in the City of Newburgh is located in the heart of the historic district, surrounded by beautiful buildings and river views. It’s walking distance to the waterfront, as well as shops, cafes and restaurants on Broadway and Liberty Street.
On the first floor, the home has a sunroom, a TV room, a living room, a dining room, and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher. On the second floor, there are 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. There is also a half bath in the basement, as well as a washer and dryer, and a fenced-in backyard with views of the Newburgh-Beacon bridge.
If you’ve been considering a move to Newburgh or the Hudson Valley, this rental is a wonderful way to give the area a try.
And there’s plenty to explore within walking distance: the waterfront, coffeeshops, restaurants, antiques and more.
We’re a couple (a journalist and a theater maker) who moved to the Beacon/Newburgh area from Washington, D.C., two years ago. We live here full-time, and love our community. We’ll be away for several weeks in November and December, on the West Coast for work.
Ideally looking for a 5-week rental, but also open to shorter rentals. We’re asking for $4,900 a month, or $1,400 a week. We are prioritizing longer stays.
We’ll ask for references, and also a security deposit.
Utilities are included in rent.
While we love pets, we’d prefer someone who isn’t planning to bring one with them for this short-term rental.
