Renting out my apartment while travelling. Lovely little spot in Glendale/Ridgewood at Freshpond and Myrtle ave. What it lacks in fancy amenities it makes up for in character and lovely calm vibes.
Walkable to all of Ridgewood's finest, many restaurants, watering holes, grocery stores, etc. Under 10-minute walk to the M train (which transfers to the L). Multiple busses and city bike stand steps from the front door.
Classic New York layout with big, sunny bedroom upfront (facing street), then dedicated office that can also be a second bedroom thanks to a home-made Murphy bed/desk, living room, and big sunny kitchen with reading nook overlooking secluded backyard garden and train tracks.
Monitor and keyboard / mouse work set up available if desired. There's no TV but there's a projector that plugs in with an HDMI cable. Fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking stuff for guests to use (oils, spices, etc.).
Small, 4-unit, non-accessible building. Apartment is on the 2nd floor with steps to get into the building and upstairs (no elevator). All other tenants are families - so no parties or crazy noise. No smoking inside and, as much as I hate to say it, no pets (staying or visiting).
Important things to note: the place is not super swanky and there is some noise from the street (myrtle ave, heard in bedroom) and from the cargo train that occasionally passes out back (heard in the kitchen). Personally, I find all the sounds charming and homey, but if you need somewhere super quiet this is probably not for you. No noise from other units. Middle room does not have a window, but has faux-sun lighting installed.

I ask for a $200 deposit, fully refundable if the place this left as found. I also ask for a social media link or a short video call before finalizing things.
Deposit and signed sublet agreement due when booking the dates. Remaining $ due on first day of stay
