Prince Edward County is located 2 hours east of Toronto on a peninsula that extends south into Lake Ontario. The County is home to many wineries and breweries, markets and festivals. It has a vibrant arts community. The house is located about 5 km north of Wellington, a picturesque town of about 3000 with excellent restaurants. We live in Toronto and this is our retirement home - we are just not there yet! We are both educators with (almost) grown children and a pair of long-haired dachshunds. We visit the house as much as possible but we do rent it out to help pay the bills.
