A fully furnished one bedroom apartment is available for short-term lease in the historic rivertown of Athens, NY, in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

It has a Queen-size bed, full bathroom and full kitchen, TV, Wifi, and free on-site parking. All utilities (heat, hot water, electric, Wifi) included.

The apartment has 5 stars on Airbnb but now I'm looking for a longer-stay guest. The term is 2 months but could be longer.

Looking for someone neat and clean who craves a winter getaway, or is shopping for a home in the area and needs a regular place to stay, or wants a launch pad for winter sports in the area (40 minutes to Hunter Mountain). My place is favored by writers for it's quiet, and travelling nurses for it's proximity to Columbia Memorial Hospital

The area is beautiful and rural yet just 9 miles from hopping Hudson NY. You can buy eggs from the neighbor down the road, you will hear the freight train in the distance and a neighbor's donkey at breakfast time. There's an upstairs neighbor (me) with two dogs and a cat.

The apartment has it's own separate entrance, and it's all on one level (no stairs).

Many good restaurants, attractions and outdoor activities. It's truly the Hudson Valley at it's finest.

Easy access to Amtrak. You will need a car to get around locally.
