I’m subletting my renovated 1900 Brickhouse in the Village of Saugerties — a warm, light-filled home that blends historic character with thoughtful modern comforts.
The house offers spaces to gather over long meals, quiet corners to read or work, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and settle in. It works beautifully for families, friends sharing a seasonal stay, or anyone looking to experience Hudson Valley living beyond a weekend visit.
Located in the village, you can walk to local cafés, shops, and morning coffee, while still being minutes from trails, swimming holes, and the wider Catskills landscape.
Our neighborhood is residential, with neighboring homes close by, and we deeply value peace and quiet. The home is therefore best suited for those seeking a calm, restorative stay rather than gatherings, parties, or special events.

Transportation:
You can rent a car or travel easily from NYC by bus or train, with local taxi services available for the final trip to the house. Because the home is located in the village, a car isn’t strictly necessary, though it’s helpful for exploring the wider area.
If you’re interested, please share a little about yourself and who would be staying.
To help care for the home, a mandatory monthly cleaning with our trusted local housekeeper is required ($350/month). Weekly cleanings can also be arranged directly with her at a lower per-visit rate.
We welcome one well-behaved dog, but unfortunately no cats due to allergies. Smoking is not permitted in or around the home also due to severe allergies.
I spend my time between Saugerties and NYC.
Sub-lease agreement, first month's rent and security deposit.
Dogs allowed. No cats as homeowners are allergic.
