I’m subletting my renovated 1900 Brickhouse in the Village of Saugerties — a warm, light-filled home that blends historic character with thoughtful modern comforts.

Located in the village, you can walk to local cafés, shops, and morning coffee, while still being minutes from trails, swimming holes, and the wider Catskills landscape.

Our neighborhood is residential, with neighboring homes close by, and we deeply value peace and quiet. The home is therefore best suited for those seeking a calm, restorative stay rather than gatherings, parties, or special events.

Transportation:
You can rent a car or travel easily from NYC by bus or train, with local taxi services available for the final trip to the house. Because the home is located in the village, a car isn’t strictly necessary, though it’s helpful for exploring the wider area.

To help care for the home, a mandatory monthly cleaning with our trusted local housekeeper is required ($350/month). Weekly cleanings can also be arranged directly with her at a lower per-visit rate.

We welcome one well-behaved dog, but unfortunately no cats due to allergies. Smoking is not permitted in or around the home also due to severe allergies.
