ABOUT THE SPACE
It’s a perfect space for hosting small dinner parties, getting work done, or spending a cozy night in. We really love our apartment (our favorite we’ve ever had and the envy of all our friends) and are looking for someone that will take care of the space, water our plants, and also enjoy everything the apartment and neighborhood have to offer. Perfect for one person or a couple.
Rental price includes utilities (electric, water, gas, and high-speed internet)
Right now we’re looking for someone for September through mid-December, but we can be flexible if you’re looking to stay longer.

FYI - we have a dog (which we’ll be taking with us, of course) and we’ll hire a cleaning service before move-in, but noting in case you are highly allergic

FEATURES
We have an in-unit condenser W/D, dishwasher, equipped kitchen (no microwave), a queen sized bed, several desk/work areas, 55” 4K TV with Sonos soundbar, portable HVAC unit available for living room or bedroom, outdoor space, a private entrance, tons of closet / storage space (we basically sectioned off part of the bedroom and turned it into a closet), dual head shower with handheld wand, and a really comfortable couch.

NEIGHBORHOOD
We’re on a historic block in eastern Bed-Stuy – we’re friendly with all our neighbors and love the community here. There’s a supermarket about a 5 min walk away, as well as lots of bodegas that are open late, and lots of great restaurants and bars.
The apartment may not be a good fit for someone extremely sensitive to noise since we’re on street level – we’re not on a rowdy block, but we are across the street from a church and a school, and you’ll sometimes hear groups of pedestrians or particularly loud vehicles. There’s also an upstairs tenant whose footsteps you may hear from time to time.

TRANSPORTATION
~10 min walk to Utica A/C station
~15 min walk to Gates J/Z station
Both can have you in southern Manhattan within about 30 minutes of leaving the front door.
