The neighborhood:

East New York - a largely residential area south of Ridgewood and Highland Park. The apartment is a short two blocks to the J train (Norwood stop) and a ten minute walk to the C train (Shepard Ave) or the A train (Euclid Ave)

The building:

The building is relatively new, built three years ago and we were the first tenants in the building. There are three floors, two units per floor.

There is limited parking in the back - the remote for the driveway gate can be included with the room for no extra fee.

There is a keypad for entry into the building with a building code and an intercom and buzzer system to buzz up guests or deliveries.

The apartment:

The apartment has a spacious kitchen with a lot of countertop space, gas stove, and a large pantry closet for storage. The common area is very spacious with enough room for a dining table and couch and television. Also in the common area is a balcony which has covered plugs for working from home outdoors or enjoying music outside. There is a washer/dryer in unit. Utilities are evenly split by all residents - gas, electric, internet.

The room:

The room is very large, with enough room for a king-sized bed, a desk, a tv console, and a bookcase or two. It’s seriously massive. My partner and I have a queen sized bed, two desks, a bookcase, a shelving unit, and a tv console with room to spare. The room faces the back and is quiet.

There is also a huge walk-in closet with shelving and hanger rods on two walls. It’s deep enough that we also fit a dresser and a wide hamper in there - lots of storage space.

This room also has its own full bathroom with a toilet, sink with drawers and cabinet, medicine cabinet mirror with shelves, and a tub and shower.

Two other roommates share the bathroom out in the main area.
