Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to CA in mid-May to start a 1-year masters program. I am looking for a responsible, communicative, friendly, and respectful subletter for either the duration of my lease (thru Sept 2026) or the entire 12-months.

About my apartment:
My 1-bedroom apartment is located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens on a beautiful street with historic homes. It’s a classic 6-story pre-war apartment building. The building itself is large with many tenants. Some occasional noise from neighbors and traffic, but facing the back of the building helps with most noise. It’s a large 1-bedroom with a separate full-size kitchen, big living room, and nice size bathroom (with excellent water pressure). Hardwood throughout, tall ceilings, and 4 closets with lots of storage. Radiator heat.

It is an elevator building and I live on the 2nd floor. On-site super. Unfortunately, no pets.

I plan on leaving behind all large pieces of furniture and will be putting any personal items in storage. Otherwise, I am very flexible on home items to leave behind for use while subletting. Need dishes? Kitchen stuff? A printer? All up to discuss together on what works best!

There is no laundry in building, but there is a great laundromat with wash and fold available across the street. Lucky to live off Flatbush Ave. in Prospect Lefferts with many restaurants, coffee shops, shops, and grocery options. Lincoln Market is a 4-min walk away and is right next to the Q/B/S Prospect Park station. And best of all Prospect Park is a 5-min walk. The best amenity!

Rent is $2250/month. Gas, Internet, and Power will be included.

Availability is for June 1, 2026, but can be flexible during end of May for a pro-rated amount.

Sublet agreement will be required along with a 1-month security deposit due back at the end of the sublease. I'm available most weekends and evenings, although I'm out of town 4/9-4/13. Also will want to see proof of income(s).
