The New York Waterways ferry to midtown Manhattan is 5 minute walk down the hill, and the ferry reaches midtown in less than 15 minutes. It is the best commute possible. Whole Foods, Trader Joes and Mitsuwa all within a very short distance on the riverfront. Excellent schools if you have kids, nice neighbors, and close to Palisades park for hiking and biking.

About This Lister

I (she/her) am a writer and editor, now living further south near Sea Bright. My husband works at NYU (he/him). We lived in Edgewater from 2000-2014 with our kids who are now college age. We designed the renovation of this place from the ground up with an extraordinary Japanese contractor, who's work is evident.

I or my husband will be showing it weekends by appointment.

Rental requirements

We provide a fairly standard lease agreement, ask for a phone interview before an appointment to view, a rental application that includes referrals, credit and background check. One month security deposit, first month rent and utility deposit of $500 and a non-refundable credit/background check fee of $50.

We have a non smoking clause in the lease.

Snow removal is a shared responsibility of the tenant(s).
