We're looking for a roommate in our sprawling Rancho house, directly across the street from Griffith Park at the Glendale/Burbank border.

$1500/month + utilities — **rent discounted 50-130 dollars when part-time roommate is in town! More on that below**

***The Location***

Imagine walking to the park with your morning coffee! 2 minutes from the 134 + the 5, 15 minutes to Silverlake, 25 minutes to downtown. Under 10 minutes to almost every major store, 3-5 minutes to a bunch of charming local cafes and eating spots (and my favorite pilates studio.)

Extra charming: Horses often pass by the front windows, as we're near the equestrian center.

***The house***

The house has a huge, lush living room, a lounge with a reading nook where you see trees + humming birds(!), a dining room, a TAVERN, a massive courtyard perfect for a cozy fire pit, off-street parking (garage available when traveling), laundry, and dishwasher.

Tons of storage, Central A/C, well appointed everything. Shoes-off inside kinda place. House cleaning is included every 4-6 weeks.

***Your rooms***

We have ONE unfurnished bedroom available! The room is quite large with a huge closet, two large built-in mirrors, and one window. It's cozy + cool + shares no walls with any other bedrooms!

You'd share 1.5 bathrooms with one other housemate (a guy.) He'll be using his half-bath primarily, but showering/bathing in the full one. 🙂 It's a... semi-private bathroom situation.

About This Lister

***The roomies:***

A queer woman in her 30's who works in tech, and a straight man in his 20's who's a medical engineering PHD!

Both generous, direct, sweet, silly, and nerdy (Games! Fantasy! Anime!) We like to have fun, and host lovely gatherings but also work really hard sometimes at home, sometimes at cafes. In our free time we dance, craft, read, and work on decorating this massive house.

I also have a guest room (upstairs, near my bedroom) where a friend stays if she's in town for work. You get a rent break when she comes. She's 30's, normally lives in Portland, tidy-ing queen, super helpful (she put up all the curtain rods in the bay windows) and will mostly be at work/out of the common areas. She's great at tidying and super crafty!

We're friendly but love introvert/chill time, and try to keep tidy common areas so the house can feel like a home!
