Welcome to the penthouse! We are three strangers-to-friends (and one small, very friendly cat) who met as we each moved into this apartment, and we’re looking for the newest addition!! We are all in our early 30s and are looking for someone in a similar age range. We love pets but don't have room for any more.

THE ROOM: pretty large for New York standards. Comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, and dresser. Cute south facing window. On the second floor (the rest of us live on the first) so you have a little privacy.

THE APARTMENT: In-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, BIG terrace, two bathrooms. We have many different kitchen gadgets (coffee/air fryer/blender/etc). Central heat and A/C, controlled personally in each room. :)

THE BUILDING: elevators, gym, sauna, mini-theater, doorman (safe package delivery), parking garage w/ bike rack. Friendly neighbors!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Quiet and residential, just off Classon near bars and restaurants on Franklin, Washington, Vanderbilt. Many train options nearby, including 2/3/4/5/C and even closer to the S.

A little more about us and the vibe:

We are a social group and we've become friends by living together. We like to chat in the kitchen, spontaneously watch a movie, make dinner, or share a bottle of wine. We sometimes have a few friends over, and we like to throw fun (themed) parties together a few times a year (but not all the time). We're also all have our own lives and are very out-and-about, so the apartment is often quiet. We work together to keep the apartment clean and cute, but we are not too stressed about it.

We would love to live with someone values getting to know new people, and who thinks this seems like the kind of place where they'd want to live. :)

About This Lister

Maddie (30), works in design, is handy and can fix things in the house. Currently on a big George Clooney and ER kick. Is the cat's mother.

Nathan (33), loves to see a show or visit a friend. Works as a therapist. Is gay :) Had a fun time painting the stairs in our apartment with former roommate, Lily.

Rose (31), is a Brooklyn native and works for the UN. She returned to the apartment after living in Brazil for two years. Recently joined a Samba drum band, but doesn't practice at home :)

Michi (cat) (3), loves live birds, fake birds on a string, birds in a video. Does not like winter because of lack of birds.
