I'm looking for a roommate for my 2BR/2BA apartment. It’s a space I’ve lived in for a while and really enjoy. The room for rent is the downstairs bedroom of a 4th floor walk up; it has its own bathroom and a private balcony (on the 3rd floor looking into a courtyard), so you’d have a good amount of your own space and is very quiet.
The apartment has a dishwasher and several outdoor areas. We have a washer/dryer in-unit, and I’m currently in the process of replacing the broken washer. I have a private office upstairs where I work on Mondays and Fridays.
Interior Designer, 38 yo gay guy.
I'm fairly outgoing, social and freindly while enjoying my downtime at home.
I’m looking for a respectful, quiet roommate to keep the environment calm. Since I work from home two days a week, I’m looking for someone who works out of the house (or stays in their room during work hours).
A few things to note:
Kitchen: The kitchen is small, so it's a great fit for someone who doesn't do a lot of heavy cooking.
Guests: This setup is ideal for someone looking for a medium-term stay (3–6 months). Whether you’re on a work contract or just getting settled in the city, I’m looking for a reliable roommate for the next few months, with the possibility to negotiate a longer stay if it's a great fit for both of us.
I prefer to keep the home a quiet retreat and ask that we discuss guests ahead of time rather than having frequent visitors. I'm sure this would change as we got to know each other more. I typically throw one or two summer parties on the shared roof.
Identity: Looking for someone in the LGBTQ+ community.
The Logistics:
Rent: $2,000/month for short-term (3-month minimum).
Move-in: First month + one month security due upfront.
Pets: No pets, please.
