We are looking for someone to share our spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft in Dumbo. The loft has high ceilings and is on the third floor of a former industrial building with views of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan. It also has a washer and dryer, dishwasher and air conditioning. The building has an elevator, renovated entrance, bike room, and original window lined factory hallways.

Dumbo is a laid back neighborhood with plenty of modern amenities including casual to fine-dining, parks, and a scenic waterfront. Equal parts understated and energetic with cobblestone streets and art, technology and small business communities. Easy access to Citibikes, the F, A/C, and 2/3 subway stations. Dumbo is an acronym for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.”

The available room gets great light (two sound proofed windows), is large (13’ x 14’), and has excellent storage (a two door 8.5’ long closet). The room opens directly into a large common area. The guest bathroom is primarily for your use, with shared use when the other bathroom is occupied or when guests are visiting.

The room is furnished and available for a three month to twelve month rental with a possible option to renew.

The rent for the room is $2000 a month. Internet, utilities, shared household supplies, and a bi-weekly cleaning service run an additional $250 per month

You will be sharing the loft with two people. A couple of eleven years who lead active, engaged lives. He’s a senior level IT professional, jazz musician, news junky, meditation teacher, and outdoor enthusiast from Ohio. She runs a private coaching and creative development practice, with a background in advertising and design, fond of the arts, yoga, and a good bike ride, born in Boston. Both are fully vaccinated.
