The apartment is the entire first floor of a 2 family apartment building. If you sublet, you will have the whole apartment to yourself.
The apartment consists of a furnished bedroom, office, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, foyer, porch and backyard.
It has windows facing north and south and it gets a lot of natural sunlight during the day.
The backyard has a grill and 2 bikes that you are welcome to use.
The apartment is on a quiet street made up mostly of families.
Just a few blocks away is the heart of Ridgewood and endless restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, boutiques and entertainment.
It is also conveniently located near the [Forest Ave] M train and the [Halsey St] L train.

About This Lister
My wife and I are traveling in Feb and we are looking for someone to sublet our apartment and water our plants while we are gone.
We like gardening and cooking, so if you like to cook, you may find some fresh herbs still growing in the yard.
We are very clean and we hope you are too.
We have great relationships with all our neighbors and we try not to be loud or disruptive. We hope you can do the same.

We are available most days between now and Feb 2nd to show the apartment.
We are asking $2800 for someone to sublet from Feb 2nd - March 4th. If we can’t find that, then we are open to someone staying a shorter amount of time at the rate of $100/day.
If you are going to sublet, we are asking for a small good faith deposit to hold the spot for you, and then you would pay the rest on the day you move in.
Our ideal subletter is someone who:
1) doesn’t wear shoes in the house
2) is clean
3) is quiet and respectful of our neighbors
4) can water our plants while we are gone 🌱
