Hi, I’m moving in with a friend and looking for someone to takeover my lease!

Move in date February 14th - March 1st.

-The apartment is on a quiet block in North Slope between 5th and 6th ave.
-It’s a 3 bed/1 bath, with a large open floor plan living room and kitchen, that gets lots of natural light.
-The room is the largest of the 3, north facing, located on the back side of the apartment facing the shared garden space.
-Bedroom has a large sliding mirror closest
-In unit laundry!
-7 minute walk to the 7th ave Q/B, 6 minute walk to the Bergen 2/3/4 and 15 minute walk to Barclays
-15-20 minute walk to Prospect Park
-Untilities: $70 wifi, $30-97 for electric depending on the time of the year
-Landlord is responsive, and helpful
-Lots of grocery stores and amazing restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance

Apartment vibe:
-We expect and like to keep the place clean, everyone contributes weekly.
-We enjoy keeping the apartment a peaceful, relaxing place with the occasional hosting of friends for dinner and or a movie. Just need to give a heads up.
-Guests are also welcome to stay overnight, but not more than 3-4 nights.

Ideal roommate:
-Seeking with female or they/them pronouns, no males.
Someone who is communicative and kind. Don’t need to be friends but can chat here and there
-Clean conscious, does not leave dishes in the sink.
-Ideally 20s-30s
-Someone who’s friends would describe them as friendly, chill, and easy-going.
-No smoking and no pets

Hi! I’m Kalyani, a 31-year-old female, from Delhi, India. I’ve lived in New York for 3 years and I work at a literacy non profit. I have a pretty loose hybrid schedule so I sometimes have long periods of remote work and then in-person work. In my free time, I like to go to Prospect Park, check out museums, and thrift. I don’t smoke, and drink very occasionally.

Hi, my name is Madeline (she/her). I’m 25, born and raised in Brooklyn. I’m a warm, tidy roommate who values a clean, safe, and welcoming home. I work in Soho five days a week and also teach yoga throughout the week. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, moving my body through yoga, dance, or the gym, meditating, watching movies, traveling, listening to music, and I love a good wine night with friends.
