You'll have north-facing floor-to-ceiling windows, which means the room won’t overheat from direct sunlight, while still getting lovely ambient light throughout the day. The room has both air conditioning and heating via wall-mounted, remote-controlled units.

The building offers excellent amenities, including a gym and laundry facilities in the basement, a spacious rooftop, a secure mail room, a bike room, workrooms, and a lounge area with a pool table. We're just a 5-minute walk from the Gates Avenue J train stop, with bars, cafés, and restaurants all within walking distance.

You’ll be living with two other roommates — one teaches high school and is usually out during the day, and is a sculptor and tattoo artist over the weekends, and the other works in the tech industry and follows a hybrid work arrangement.

We like to keep things tidy and would love a roommate who’s down to help maintain clean and comfortable common areas.

The property is rent-stabilized, so if you choose to renew in september, the apartment's rent will increase by 2.75%. The overall amount will be divided amongst the 3 roommates.

About This Lister

My name is Anagh Banerjee. Although I have really enjoyed my time living in this apartment, I am having to leave the city to move to India temporarily. Since my lease technically expires at the end of August, I am taking the responsibility to find someone to take over this cute little room.

My first roommate, Jaz, teaches high school. She is away for most of the day and keeps to herself most of the time.

Ivan, my other roommate, works in the tech industry and generally keeps to himself.

We have all the basic utensils and cutlery, plus a dishwasher in the kitchen.

We like to maintain a cleaning schedule for the common spaces - bathroom, living room, and kitchen.

It really is a zen apartment. And the amenities are the icing on the cake. We'd love to welcome a similarly like-minded roommate/friend to take over my part of the lease. :)
