Hi there! My large queen-sized bedroom in Sunnyside Queens will be available for a lease takeover March 1st or April 1st, with option to renew the lease November 1st.

The apartment is top floor, has roof access (amazing view of the city!), and a huge living room that looks out onto a gorgeous tree-filled backyard-- very quiet, not street-facing, responsive live-in super, and sweet roommate. The apartment is 1 block from the 7 train at the 40th St stop, and very close to supermarkets, CVS, restaurants, cafes, and bars. No laundry in building, but there are 2 laundromats on our block. Sunnyside is a great neighborhood, and superbly located-- you can travel to midtown Manhattan in 20 minutes! I used to work in Tribeca and my average commute was half an hour.

You will be living with my roommate (29, F), who is an actor and childcare giver, very clean, quiet, and hoping to create a peaceful living environment grounded in open communication and a shared vision for a calm, rejuvenating home. No dogs, but willing to discuss living with a cat if you have one. The ideal candidate is mid/late 20s - 30s, very clean, and communicative. Ideally this person would be interested in renewing the lease in November.

There might be an option to purchase some furniture of mine (bed, shelf, kitchen rack, rolling cart) but otherwise your room will be unfurnished. The rest of the apartment will be partially furnished since I am moving some things with me (namely the couch, though I could be convinced to part with it if you're interested in buying).
