We're looking for a meticulous, tech-savvy legal assistant with outstanding communication skills to join our family law firm and take the lead on administrative correspondence with clients and various other tasks throughout the week.
We are looking for someone with at least 25 hours/week of availability, potentially up to full-time. We are also looking for someone who is available to work in-person at our Midtown office an average of one half-day per week. We are flexible and happy to discuss total hours and specific schedule / availability with the right candidate.
Sample job tasks include:
- Email correspondence with clients on administrative matters (e.g., scheduling, billing);
- Answering phone calls;
- Responding to clients' miscellaneous inquiries with our guidance;
- Managing our shared Google calendars, alongside our Calendly scheduling pages;
- Inputting new client information into Clio and AirTable, our case management systems;
- Invoicing and Statements of Account;
- Running financial reports;
- Summarizing attorneys’ notes;
- File management (Dropbox and physical files);
- And more!
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Microsoft Word and Excel (strong facility with Microsoft Word encouraged)
Google Business Suite (mainly, Google Calendar)
PDF creation / editing
Dropbox (e.g., sharing folders, creating shared links)
