Share a quirky light-filled retired scenic artist's home with a mature woman, friendly cat and small dog. Hardwood floors throughout, kitchen fully equipped. (I'm an avid cook & baker.) I'm clean, but not anal. There's a lush garden with 2 decks, hammocks and comfortable chairs to lounge in.
The room is fully furnished (full bed w/ comfy mattress, desk w/ chair and lamp, closet, bookcase, dresser, area rug) with 2 entry doors, one opens onto the shared bathroom and the other opens directly onto the front entry hall so you can come and go discreetly. Blackout curtains are available. Walkable neighborhood, close to transportation (the 72 bus is 1/2 block away) with easy access to freeway, 10 minute walk to Ashby or N. Berkeley BART, very close walking distance to premiere market (Berkeley Bowl West,) bank (BofA), huge park (San Pablo Park,) coffee house (La Chiave,) restaurants and boutiques. Street parking. All utilities, washer and dryer and fast WIFI included.

About This Lister

House is shared with me, a retired scenic artist at San Francisco Opera, neat but not anal. I'm generally quiet, but enjoy listening to music (eclectic), often watch TV in the evenings, usually in bed by 11. Have friends over a couple times a week, but the house has multiple areas to socialize in and the rented bedroom is quiet.
I'm a knitter, artist, avid gardener. Like good conversation but am no chatty Kathy. Rarely drink acohol, occasionally enjoy marijuana.
