This is a beautiful pre-war 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a historic Boerum Hill brownstone. It's on a corner and is filled with light and views of trees, the surrounding neighborhood and downtown Brooklyn. Just 1 block from the subway. I am seeking a subletter from August 11-21.
This apartment is an absolute gem. It's serene and bright and the neighborhood is quiet and really wonderful. Good storage space both in the apartment and just outside in the hallway. Kitchen is very well outfitted, the space is clean and tidy and feels very open, beautiful original hardwood floors, dishwasher, gas oven. Window air conditioning units are located in the kitchen/living room and the bedroom. Laundry is just around the corner in the basement of the building. All utilities, WiFi, and Apple TV/Netflix are included.
The apartment is generally in quite good condition with the exception of some leaky windows when it heavily rains. Pricing includes a small cleaning fee.
I've lived here for over 5 years and the apartment really feels like home. I'll be your point of contact. The building's other tenants are really nice and helpful. I'm organized and clean and have taken time and thought in many of the vintage furniture pieces in the apartment. Ideally whoever is subletting gives thought and care to them as well. I'm a chef so the kitchen is very well outfitted for anyone who really likes to cook or bake.
A $350 security deposit which will be returned upon completion of the sublet as long as the apartment is left in the condition it was found. Any additional A/C usage above typical monthly average will be subtracted from from the security deposit. I'm hoping to find someone who loves this space as much as I do and respects the care I've put into it as well as my furniture and decor.
