I just signed a lease for this XXXL 3 Bedroom 2 Bath apartment on the border between Ridgewood and Middle Village and I’m looking for one person (or maybeeeee a couple) to share it with.

The space: gigantic apartment with a large common kitchen w/ dishwasher and living room, terrace, skylight, high vaulted ceilings, and free parking lot! On the top floor of a 3rd floor walk up. There are no buildings across the street or behind, so it gets great light and is super quiet. The building is newer, built in 2007. As you can see, the apt is not moved into yet, but I have all the normal kitchen equipment to share, a dining table, and a couch etc. For the shared space I am thinking a minimal but warm vibe: antiques, natural materials, plants, books, (unscented if u prefer) candles, etc. I’m going to install a projector for movies in the common area.

Your space: 2 big private bedrooms on opposite sides of the apt. One would be your bedroom, and one could be your private art studio, office, private living room, guest room, whatever. Just not a music studio unless you use headphones! Both rooms have a window and a closet.

You: Like/preferably love cats and could maybe even care for them on random weekend$, not racist/transphobic/ableist, conscientious, consistently contribute to keeping common areas clean and pleasant, good communicator, no additional pets (sorry).

No smoking inside (terrace!), guests are ok of course but always communicate about longer term/recurring things or having a party or something. This can all be relatively laid-back because there is plenty of space.

Available Oct 1, but could possibly be flexible. Month to month sublease agreement.
