I’m subletting my newly renovated 1-bedroom apartment with a bonus office in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn. The apartment is my happy place. I am co-parenting/co-housing with the father of my children and I maintain this space for my private time. While working full time and paying for a low residency degree as a grief educator/doula I cannot afforded to pay for both homes and the tuition at the moment. While completing my degree, I am subletting this very special
and magical space. I gave birth to my daughters in this space 15 years ago in the month of June. It is full of loving energy and joyous times. I hope you will love the space as much as I do.

House Rules (Required as per Lease Agreement):
No painting the apartment at all, no drilling into wood molding, or making any structural changes, including new holes for tv services without consent.
Only use small nails for hanging lightweight items (e.g. picture hooks) if you want to mount the TV- the super will do this.
No smoking inside the apartment or building
No illegal drugs (vaping permitted)
Must keep common hallways spaces clear of all personal items (no bikes, strollers or other equipment stored outside personal apartment)
Area rugs must cover 80% of the floors - for sound proofing and heat/cooling optimization.
No installing washing machines in apartment, laundry services are a block away.
Application Requirements:
Completed sublet application (provided upon request)
2 Money Orders: First month’s rent ($2,750) + One month’s security deposit ($2,750)
Copy of most recent tax return
Recent credit report (within past 45 days)
Government-issued photo ID
Rent paid in cash on the first of the month, receipts provided.
