On the top floor of a duplex, this 2BR apartment has beautiful light, a screened in porch, and will be very quiet in summer because it is across from a school that will not be in session.
Walk to the Syracuse Coop grocery store, Syracuse University, Barry Park, or the community garden.
Accessibility: the space is up a narrow flight of stairs.
The space has a large living room, dining room and kitchen with two bedrooms off of them. All hard wood floors. (A third will have personal stuff stored in it.) There is a washer and dryer shared with the downstairs tenant.
All utilities included.
The space is fully furnished with my things - looking for a person who will respect the space and keep it clean, be a good communicator if there are any issues. I've lived here for a year and plan to live here for many more years. (I'm a professor at Syracuse University.)
I'm a Professor of Practice in Film at Syracuse University during the academic year, in Brooklyn otherwise. I am also a screenwriter and an actor, and I travel often over the summer or stay in my place in Brooklyn. Pronouns she/her. Lover of my dog Marbles.
I rent the place from my landlord who lives nearby and will be available if there are issues. (I haven't had any big ones-- just leaky faucet, needed something replaced, etc.).
A 2400 deposit will be required, a copy of a valid ID, and a simple sublease agreement to be signed. Quick zoom or FaceTime to ensure we know who each other are.
The neighborhood is full of dogs, and the downstairs neighbors have a small dog. I would just want some reassurance that the dog isn't a destroyer of objects!
