We’re opening our beloved Catskills retreat for a handful of winter weeks to guests looking to truly unplug and soak up the magic of the season. This is our family’s second home, not a full-time rental, and it’s shared only when we can’t be there ourselves. We’re hoping to host guests who will cherish it as much as we do.
Set on nearly 10 private acres with ½ mile of creek frontage, woodland trails, and complete privacy, this is a perfect winter escape, especially for families planning a mid-winter school break getaway. We’re just 20 minutes from Holiday Mountain, a favorite local ski and snowboard destination.
After a day on the slopes, come home to a crackling fire, snowy woods, and star-filled nights.
RATES:
$1,550 / week
$690 / weekend (Fri–Sun)
$175 / night (weekdays, 3-night minimum)
$150 cleaning fee
$250 refundable security deposit
THE COTTAGE:
Recently renovated, bright, and wheelchair accessible, the cottage is cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It comfortably sleeps 4 adults + 4 children.

LOCATION:
Located in Callicoon, near Narrowsburg, Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor, and Roscoe. Easy access to great restaurants, cafés, spas, winter hikes, and local markets.
I'm a mom of 4 (including both humans and canines!) who grew up camping, canoeing, and fishing in Upstate NY. My family and I split our time between Brooklyn and Callicoon. When we cannot make it upstate, we love to share our property with others.
We welcome other families and folks who enjoy the peaceful outdoors.

We offer our home for rent through the Listings Project community at a significant discount to our published rate, and in return, we ask that all guests be clean, respectful, and care for the space as if it were their own.
To help us maintain the safety and integrity of our home, especially since we’re renting directly without a platform as intermediary, we kindly request the following:
- A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID from the primary guest at the time of booking
- A brief note sharing who you are and who will be staying
- For longer stays (7+ days), we may also request proof of current address (e.g. utility bill or lease)
- A refundable security deposit of $250 is due upon booking and will be returned within 2 days of your departure, pending no damage
- Guests must agree to basic house rules and care guidelines, which we’ll share prior to confirming your stay

Well-behaved and house-broken dogs are allowed with a 35lb weight limit. You must clean up all pet waste, including in the outdoor areas of the property.
