Hello! I am a published novelist and a professor of creative writing at Columbia University. I am currently open for manuscript consultations for fiction and poetry projects of any length, at any stage of the writing process. I am also available for book coaching for individuals who wish to write a book-length manuscript but need some extra support and guidance. I can work with you remotely or in New York City. My rates are flexible and my turn-around time is quick.

About this Lister

Hello! I am a published novelist and a professor of creative writing at Columbia University. I also evaluate graduate fiction theses. I am experienced at advising writers at all stages of the writing process. I really love seeing others' projects evolve and improve, and I am especially good at recommending reading that aids writers with their projects.

Background and Expertise

I am the author of two novels: Nothing Can Hurt You, published by Bloomsbury in 2020, and Other Women, forthcoming from Verso in 2026. I have taught in the Fiction MFA program at Columbia since 2022. I also teach at the Center for Fiction.
