We're looking to sublet our live/work 1 bedroom in Marfa for the last week of October and into November, with the possibility of part of December. Prefer someone to sublet for the whole time but can also discuss by the week.

Our minimalist casita is tucked behind the main house on the corner with its own driveway and two parking spaces under the carport. Furnished with a couch, table and two chairs, with concrete floors, an open kitchen and live/work space with a separate bedroom with comfy queen bed and small bathroom with shower.

The neighborhood is on the edge of town and quiet with beautiful ranch views and of the Davis Mountains in the distance. We love the view every morning out the big kitchen window. At night you can see the Milky Way when the sky is clear. Friends/neighbors are close by in the case you would need anything.

Easy walking distance (1 mile) into town and all that Marfa has to offer including the nearest grocery store. Also 1 mile to the laundromat next to a coffee shop in town. Bike available upon request.

We love our space and would like to find a subletter (or couple) who will care for and appreciate it as we do. We have one little jade plant we would also ask to be watered.

I am a musician and artist. I split my time between Marfa, New Mexico and LA, along with my partner who is also an artist, and our two dogs. My partner also uses the space as a studio. Our landlord is a friend. I am hoping to sublet the space to someone who will appreciate the community of Marfa and derive inspiration from this little town and the big Far West Texas skies.
