Hi there,
My husband and I are searching for a 2bd (or 1bd with office) apartment, preferably in Brooklyn. The neighborhoods we are looking seem to be very sought after but primarily looking in Prospect Heights, West Fort Greene, Boerum Hill, North Park Slope, and Brooklyn Heights. I do not work remote and need to be in the UES 5 days a week so train convenience is important to us (if I worked remote I wouldn't mind so much). Our lease ends 8/31 but open to moving in as early as 8/15.
Apartment must haves:
- 2 or 1.5 bed
- either laundry in building or in unit
- if no elevator, no higher than 3rd floor
- unfurnished
- 1 year lease minimum (2 preferred)
- dishwasher
- preferably close to the Q (not too far east like bed-stuy/east crown heights)
- no roommates (looking for entire space, not shared)
Would be nice:
- outdoor space, whether shared/private/or roof access
- dishwasher
- walkable to grocery stores/bars/restaurants
- central AC or window units that come with apartment
BK is our preference but could be open to Williamsburg (no further than Graham L stop), Astoria, and East Village.
If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out!
Thanks!
Miriam
About us: I am a nurse practitioner and my husband owns his own video production company and is also an actor for the Met Opera. We have lived in Hells Kitchen for the last 3 years in a 6 floor walk up with no laundry so we are itching to have less steps and laundry! We are clean, quiet, and have no pets. Nonsmoking. I own a rental property in California and understand the importance of good tenants. Both of us are transplants so we travel frequently to see family.
