Colourful and unique, this is not your average beige apartment!
This is a beautiful, bright, and spacious contemporary apartment on the third floor of a secure development, with a lift and secure bike storage. Offered fully furnished and ready for you to live in, in one of the most highly desired areas of London.
Ideal for a single professional or a couple, one bedroom features an en-suite and a king-sized bed and the other has been converted into a home office complete with desk, external monitor, and a sofa bed for guest visits. Both have large fitted wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The living area is open plan, with a high specification kitchen including a dishwasher and a generous fridge, reclaimed wood dining furniture, and a gorgeously soft, velveted siting room area full of plants. It leads out onto a sizeable south-facing private balcony that catches all the afternoon sun, overlooks the leafy communal gardens, and is completely hidden from the street.
There is an additional large bathroom with a wonderful bath.
The apartment also has a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a large amount of storage. There is underfloor heating throughout, dimmable lighting, and Sonos in every room.
The building is set off main roads and the flat overlooks the private communal gardens, resulting in a very peaceful environment both daytime and nighttime.
It's in a very centrally located and well-connected area: just 8 minutes walk from Old Street station (zone 1) connecting you to Covent Garden and Oxford Circus, and 25 minutes walk into The City; as well as being a 10 minute walk to the canal with all its cafes; 10 minutes walk to Hoxton and Shoreditch, famous for the street art, bars, cafes, and markets; and round the corner from historic Clerkenwell (the backdrop to Oliver Twist and nowadays containing the world's highest concentration of architects and designers). Basically, you're surrounded by all the best parts of London whether you want a cultural day out, a great restaurant and cocktails or beer, or a relaxing night in with a local takeaway!
This is my home rather than a generic rental apartment and I'm looking for a respectful tenant who will treat it as their home too whilst I travel for a couple of months.
I can be flexible on the start date and extend the stay if the situation is right for us both.
Price includes all bills (ultrafast WiFi, electricity, water).
Happy to do a live video tour and or/send lots more photos and videos of the space.
Hello, my name is Melissa and I'm looking forward to meeting you! I'm a woman (she/her) in my mid thirties who loves all things colourful, cosy, and kind.
I've lived in this flat for 9 years - redecorated two years ago - and it has been amazing to be able to walk into my work in the City rather than be another miserable commuter on the tube. Having the second bedroom as my home office has given me a very beneficial separation from home and work as we all shifted to working from home.
I've recently quit my career in tech and now want to spend time in new environments, starting off with the countryside elsewhere in the UK.
I will be contactable and on hand for any questions as you settle in plus an ongoing contact if anything arises during your stay - including recommendations for the plethora of pubs, restaurants, cafes, theatres, and vintage markets nearby!
References, video call, and deposit required.
No pets please, no wild parties, and no smoking indoors (on the balcony is fine).
This is my home rather than a rental flat so please treat it with love :) (including doing your best to keep my plants alive!)
Thanks!
