Lovingly remodeled and slowly evolving over time, I have filled my space with textiles, art and ceramics from friends, makers and my many travels.
The house has great freeway access to the 2, 5, 110 & 134, freeways. Situated in lower south mount Washington on a fully terraced 6000 SF lot, surrounded by lush greenery and bird song, you feel miles away from the madness. Perch on the roof or lounge in a chaise in the upper terraces and watch the Friday night fireworks at dodgers stadium. enjoy a nap in a hammock and serene al fresco dining.
There are plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy this special property.
Stackable laundry unit is tucked to the back of the house and a wonderful old gas range anchors the kitchen.
The claw foot bathtub is one of my favorite spots in the house, and all my guests agree you come out transformed and just keep going back.
It’s a pretty special spot here, and I hope to rent to folks who appreciate the home for what it is, It’s location, it’s amenities, furnishings, and even it’s goofy old house quirks. This isn’t a perfect air bnb, far from it, but I feel it’s so much better. It’s a house with soul that you can feel. A calm space to write, work, cook, rest, read and create.
